Fused Glass

Using compatible fusing glass, many items can be created by using 2 or more layers of glass, frit, stringers and noodles. After cutting your glass, the first firing is done in a kiln where the item is basically melted together into one layer. The second firing is done using a mold where the glass either slumps or drapes and takes it's finished shape. Dichroic glass is used mainly to make jewelry and sometimes requires a base colour of black or white and is capped in clear to give it depth. Each piece is unique and is truly one of a kind. We carry many colors of fusing and dichroic glass as well as bails, chains and earring wires for your project.
