I became inspired to learn the art of "Stain Glass" after visiting numerous cathedrals in Great Britain! Once I saw how the sun brought the leaded glass windows to life, I had to learn this awesome art. After taking numerous courses, one thing lead to another and before I knew it I was teaching the art in my home studio in 1984. Over the years I have taught students of all ages and walks of life, who now create their own windows, lamps and sun catchers. Although I love to teach the art and share my knowledge, the most fulfilling part of this art is to repair old leaded glass windows and bring them back to life. After taking numerous courses in glass fusing, I now offer this as an optional two day weekend course. Glass fusing opens up another realm where one can use artistic skills in making plates, bowls, clocks and dichroic jewelry. Recently my home studio expanded into a retail shop in the Boutique Village of Jordan which offers not only glass, tools and equipment, but finished products as well.
